As a big Richard Thompson fan who can't really keep up with all the guy's stuff as much as I'd like, I'd say get RUMOR AND SIGH. You could probably leave it at that. if you wanted to go any further, then (GUITAR, VOCAL).
After that, it would get messy, recommendation-wise.
